Churches Together in Amersham and Chesham Bois |
| What does it mean? |
|
Churches Together means Eight Local Churches (Groups of people not buildings) have joined Together in unity to proclaim the Gospel of our Living Lord Jesus in terms of loving, caring service and faithful witness to all people in the locality. |
| What does it do? |
| It seeks to serve the community in many ways; be it locally helping at the Sycamore Club with older people, or working at Workaid to recondition tools for the Third World, or having a service at The Croft for the people there. Great fun is had sharing in the work of the Amersham Churches’ Holiday Club for children each summer. Or with a wider focus working for Christian Aid and Fairtrade for the world community. |
| How does it see its part in the Community? |
|

We find the rich spiritual diversity within the Churches is a real strength to our witness and service. In this way we can meet people where they are and stand with them and we know Jesus has called us into His Loving Service for our Community and to be His hands and feet in this place.
