Branch Groups General Info

Branch Groups are at the heart of the church
and an ideal place to grow as a Christian.

Relationship with God and each other, mutual support and an outward focus are key values in small group life. 
It is in small groups that we can learn to grow as a Christian and live out community in practical, meaningful ways.
Together we discover the joy of growing together and the power of synergy that helps us make a bigger impact upon our world.

Branch Group life involves worship and prayer and a focus on the Bible.
Friendship, mission, social action, food and fun are also important components.
We aim for six main goals:

* All involved - God's heart is for all to come to know Him and be part of the body of Christ
* Becoming Disciples - learning to follow Jesus Christ, love Him and obey His teaching
* Christ-centred Community - demonstrating the love of God in practical ways
* Doing the Stuff - Jesus' ministry releasing healing, forgiveness, reconciliation and more..(Luke 4: 18-19)
* Encountering God - through worship, prayer, Biblical teaching and ministry, open to the Holy Spirit
* For His Glory - Honouring God in the way we live and sharing the Good News of the kingdom of God with others.
